I am current working with Leading Financial Services Firm who are looking to recruit a C++ Developer at VP position. The C++ developer role plays a critical part in the development of their platform and will be working with colleagues based in London. You will be contributing to all aspects of applications development including functional & technical specifications, design, development & production support and ensuring high quality of deliverables while complying with development best practices.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support for the applications
• Systems development on a mature, modern codebase written in C++
• Responsible for the quality of your own code
• Communicate & collaborate with the research and teams to design & deliver innovative & high-quality solutions

Skills needed:

• Experience of C++ unit testing practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to work in a globally distribution team of both colleagues and business stakeholders.
• Must be a true computer scientist & avid software engineer with a passion for self-learning.
