Senior QA Automation Lead - Investment bank - London

Alexander Ash are currently working with a global financial organisation who are looking for a Senior QA Automation Lead to join their multi-disciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity for any QA Automation Lead who is dedicated and will seek to identify improvements and efficiency's, while utilising new technologies and existing tools as the organisation takes on one of it's biggest bodies of work.

The role:

You'll be joining the the FX team as a senior QA Automation engineer working to enhance their low-latency FX algorithmic trading platform. Working closely with the FX quant and eTrading desks, you will be helping to build and maintain primarily Java services which include market connectivity, pricing, risk management and order execution. The QA Team within their FX department plays a critical role in ensuring the quality of software being released to production is of a very high standard. Knowledge of low-latency system designs and test automation architectures, with a drive to solve complex problems will be key to success in this position.

Essential skills:

• Strong automation testing experience in a complex area (does not have to be FX or Banking).
• Strong development skills including Java
• Good knowledge of standard development and build tools, e.g. GIT, TeamCity etc.
• Strong analytical skills
