ESG Data Analyst- Investment Management

My client is an s&p 400 Investment and asset management company with a heritage in sustainable and responsible investment. They require an innovative, creative ESG Data analyst to assess data quality and investigate any inaccuracies as well as supporting the creation of a new function, an ESG business management team with a supporting operating model alongside.

Working with ESG integrations teams, data governance, Business change and technology the role responsibilities involve manually signing off ESG requirements, communicating with internal and external stakeholders with respect to data requests, mining and analysing ESG data and using GAP analysis and impact assessments for new and existing data platforms when methodology changes. There are also opportunities to contribute to change projects.

A mathematical and analytical individual will be required with experience in the asset management industry and interest in the area of ESG. Communication skills are key with respect to dealing with different stakeholders and aligning with other business sectors. The role will be dealing with a global team in a high-profile role within a fast-paced environment so a calm and methodical individual would be best suited.

This is a 9 months fixed term contract paying up to £65,000-£70,000 pro-rated.
