Identity and Access Management Business Analyst

Job Description

  • This role would have responsibility of gathering requirements for various projects and programs for the global bank as issued by GIS management especially in light of the audit and regulatory controls requirements. These include areas such as Identity management toolset roll-out program, Joiner/Mover/Leaver (JML) process re-engineering program, etc.
  • The successful candidate will establish personal relationships with stakeholders on a global scale as well as maintaining a strong relationship with other non-GIS IT teams. He/she should be at ease discussing business and technical issues, working with both business and IT Development to understand problem areas and to proactively contribute to short and long term solutions.
  • Managing the team to ensure they adopt standard processes and proactively engages in activities to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the Firm's information assets within a highly controlled environment.
  • Key responsibilities of this role will include supporting the project team to ensure the Identity and Access Management requirements are completely and accurately gathered and documented. This role will involve interacting with other Technology teams to solicit information and work out user-friendly cost-effective solution for the bank.
  • Undertake requirements gathering and using interface design documentation for GIS systems and working closely with teams
  • The role will involve close liaison with areas of the Business, IRM, Compliance, and Audit to deliver solutions and effect their implementation.


  • Degree in Engineering with majors in Computer or related discipline from a reputed/top tier institute.
  • At least 8 years experience in Business Analysis for enterprise level IT systems (preferably within IT Security, Identity and Access Management, Active Directory and overall IT infrastructure landscape)
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile
  • High level knowledge of various IT technologies i.e. SQL, Oracle, Active Directory
  • Tools Experience: Photoshop, Visio, MS Project
  • Experience using MS Excel / Word/ PowerPoint, UML to advanced level and Visio and SQL to Intermediate level.
  • Qualified in one or more fields of Information Security, Risk and ITIL (e.g. CISA, CISSP, GIAC, etc.).
  • Good experience of working on Projects and exposure to project management of stakeholders who are in multiple locations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and customer orientated
  • Ability to multi-task, ability to think laterally and to have input to / propose detailed, complex solutions to technical issues.
  • Self sufficient and highly motivated.
  • Ability to work effectively in a close-knit team as well as independently
  • Strong analytical and investigation skills. Ability to resolve issues in a high-pressure and time critical environment
