Business Analyst - Wealth Management - CRM, Salesforce, Functional Specification, Vendor Management, Data

For this Wealth Management firm we are looking for a Business Analyst to support the business responsible for independently selecting, and delivering both in-house and third party fund products and solutions for advised Wealth Management clients. Their mandate is to provide IT Solutions to help GWS meet its business needs. They are currently developing a marketing tool which will plug into their CRM (Salesforce).

* Work with the vendor

Experience required:

* Functional Business Analyst - strong documentation skills

* Experience in working with a vendor and can manage them

* CRM type experience

* Wealth Management business knowledge

Key responsibilities:

  • Business Analysis and support in the development of application and related components
  • Data Analysis
  • Obtaining, analyzing and documenting user requirements from a range of stakeholder groups
  • Translating requirements into functional and non-functional User Story definitions
  • Detailed analysis of functional flows and processes across up and downstream systems
  • Providing subject matter expertise and business context input into the Development process
  • Providing input and support into the test and release process
  • Providing support to business users and acting as a point of escalation for issues

You will have:

  • Investment Banking (or similar) Business/Functional analysis experience within Wealth management
  • CRM system experience (Salesforce, MS Dynamics)
  • A strong understanding of the application development life cycle, preferably from both a waterfall and agile perspective
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across departments and with senior stakeholders
  • Strong numerical and quantitative skills
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
  • [Highly beneficial] A sound understanding of Financial Derivative Products and wealth management products, including concepts of pricing and risk
  • [Highly beneficial] Basic working knowledge of Oracle SQL, Unix functions and some ability to read programming code (as a means to interpret basic behavior only, not to undertake development or de-bugging tasks)
